Aluminium Die Manufacturing

Quick turnaround is a key component.

Fast turnarounds and precision performance are at the heart of KAMCO Aluminium die manufacturing process. The ongoing upgrading and updating of our leading-edge technology systems has proven to be one of our greatest investments, providing our die team with the capabilities to create tighter tolerances for our customers, while meeting their exact specifications. Our full-scale, in-house capabilities provide the die team with the ability to obtain immediate feedback on the performance of a die, and promptly implements any modifications as needed.

We utilize the latest technologically advanced manufacturing systems, including Charmilles-Robofil 510F wire-cutting machines and monarch Computer-Controlled Machining Centers.

Aluminium Extruder

 

We are running extrusion press size from 3", 4", 5" and 6", offering the advantages of a higher-level of precision with small, medium to bigprofiles, significantly lower initial set-up costs and smaller orders possible.

Minimum order runs for our standard profiles are typically 50-100 lengths or 250Kg depending on the size of the profile. Smaller runs may be available, and usually incur an additional die charge and packing fee.

Please note that as we run to order, we do not hold stock for casual / retail order.

 

Lead time for standard profiles is typically 7 days for mill finish, 10 days for powder-coated or anodised finishes. However get in touch, we will help where we can to get you out of a production jamb.

Aluminium Anodizing

The anodizing division at KAMCO Aluminium installed one of the most sophisticated systems of its kind in the market. Four fully automated, computer-controlled hoists move up to 30,000 sq.ft. of aluminium extrusions per shift through our tanks to produce Class I and Class II architectural finish.

Extrusions in length of up to 20 feet can be anodized and colour ranging from Clear Anodized, Bronze Anodized, Light Bronze Anodized and Black Anldized. The system enables us to accurately control and monitor each processing tank for the perfect color consistency. Our customers appreciate the exceptional endurance and decorative qualities of anodizing because we ensure that our products are consistent in colors and sizes.

Aluminium Powder Coating

A durable, environmentally safe finish.

Electrostatic paint processing combines our technological know-how with complete automation to create a finish that is both durable and attractive, KAMCO Aluminium's four stages spray pre-treatment system prepares the metal for a dual-reciprocator application system that can paint millions of pounds of aluminium extrusions per month.

This self-contained, environmentally friendly paint line is another example of KAMCO Aluminium's investment in technology and commitment to the safety of our workplace, employees and neighbouring surrounding. The process can coat with acrylic, polyester or Duranar in any color. We can create perfect color match as needed. The result is a durable and eye-appealing baked-on finish, designed to guard against cracking, peeling and chipping.

Aluminium Engineering

With the latest acquisition of a sophisticated projector, we aim to provide the most precise reading in measuring the radius and the flatness of the aluminium cut.

Our engineering staff excel at meeting the growing and ever-changing challenges of designers, architects and manufacturers. With an eye on innovation, KAMCO Aluminium is constantly pursuing and developing new and advanced designs for extrusion dies.

Using state-of-the-art CAD/CAM systems, our engineers can draft extrusion die prints for any type of aluminium application. Even before a job begins, our engineering staff collaborates with our customers, recommending and devising ways to improve the viability of the product to achieve optimum outcome.

By continually seeking to expand our capabilities and applications, we are able to stay one step ahead of the competition. Customers can be sure that reliability and accuracy are designed into every job.

Aluminium Fabrication

Our capacity to generate and to meet the special fabrication requirement specified by our customers is one of the most important aspects of Kamco Aluminium's full service capabilities.

Our fabrication department comprised of over 200 pieces of precision equipments, i.e. :

  1. Miter
  2. Cut-off
  3. Chop
  4. Precision saws (Capable of cutting up to 24 inches across and down to ½ inches long)
  5. Pine benders
  6. Multi-head spindle drills
  7. Vertical CNC machining centers (Equipped with pallet changers for running small parts and larger tables with extended travel for large parts)

In addition, we have a complete welding shop fitted with the latest equipment for tig and mig welding of extrusions into customs-assembled parts, and customs-automated work cells built specifically for proprietary custom products.

Our well-equipped fabrication department enables us to respond quickly our to customers' requests to produce superior finished products efficiently without compromising the quality. Our full-service capability combines with precision.

Aluminium Export

Over the years, we have accumulated extensive knowledge on the stringent requirements of our export customers. We provide the following services for our export customers:

  • Offering samples for customer's evaluation
  • Adhering to the international standard for packaging to ensure goods are in good condition when received
  • Meeting customer's requirement in the agreed delivery lead time without compromising in product quality
